Incredibly Spacious rooms, really interesting atmosphere, fun concept, very clean

    10ErinPosted on: 1-2-2026

The location of the hotel was really great - down a quiet side street but a short walk from the train. The space is beautiful and the rooms were very clean and stylish. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone!

Big and tidy rooms, staff is very helpful

Location is A bit off, but this hotel worth the extra 10 min walking than the usual

    9AlexandrePosted on: 10-27-2025

The concept of the hotel, blending art with lodging with hints of the local culture.

Complimentary water and blankets for the sofa-beds would’ve been nice. Granted the artistic works everywhere in the common spaces, the room felt a bit bland.

Great hotel, clean, convinient. Good service. 15 min walk to the metro Asakusa station, and Ueno line, 10 min walk from azumbashi asakusa line from Narita, 10 min from toyota car rental azumbashi. Very calm and convinient neighborhood.

Little bit far fromthe metro stations, we didnt mind as we are used to walking. Not a lot food options

    9UmutPosted on: 10-22-2025

+ Spacious room+ Modern cool atmosphere+ Lobby service+ Free refill water and the bottle+ Spacious bathroom

~ 12 mins walk to nearest metro station (taxi is mandatory for luggages)- Smoking room is tiny, barely two people can fit- Location was not appealing, very empty streets until across the river

    9GiorlandoPosted on: 8-25-2025

The location is so good. Really close to all Asakusa attractions, but still far enough to be in a quiet and peaceful area.

    10BMHamiltonPosted on: 8-14-2025

We have space to open 3 full luggages. Quiet residential area, not a busy street near Subway station.

    9RebekahPosted on: 7-26-2025

The room and bathroom was very spacious and well laid-out. Staff were exceptionally helpful - and went out of their way to help us track down a lost mobile phone (which we left on the metro) from the Lost and Found! The basement kitchen space is brilliant when travelling for days when you just want a quiet night in. Laundry also super handy and although fairly common in Tokyo, the complimentary kit (toothbrush, pyjamas) were a bonus. Location is good - a 10' walk from various Asakusa metro entrances and in a lovely residential area. Superb stay - we loved the art and deco also! Coffee at Safn was delicious.

Cute hotel in the Asakusa area. A little far from the train but in a quiet neighborhood. Cool are theme

    10MichaelPosted on: 7-21-2025

phantastic place to round up our JPN trip. nicely designed with art all around. public working areas in the basement with kitchen facilities. friendly staff. walking distance to metro.

    9Chrysanthi K.Posted on: 7-21-2025

So happy we chose KAIKA! - awsome coffee place on the ground floor- wonderful service, kind people, all amenities (for example laundry, common kitchen on basement level)- traveled with a baby, crib available- very clean and comfortable- quiet, safe neighborhood, nice location, easy access to asakusa metro station (10min walk)- last but not least, super cool hotel! it's beautiful to be surrounded by art.- great quality/price ratio for Tokyo.

The only minus was that our room had no opening window. It is always important to have fresh air in the room. The window also had milk glass so it felt a bit claustrophobic. Not sure if this applies to all rooms of KAIKA hotel, but it is the only minus we can mention.

Larger and renovated rooms and bathrooms, clean hotel, good amenities, quiet and comfortable, nice staff .
